Before Your Exam

9. How early should I arrive?

30 minutes before your appointment

Late arrivals may be accommodated pending availability in accordance with testing sponsor guidelines.


10. Can I bring my phone?

No.

Personal electronic devices must be stored in provided lockers.


11. Can I bring food or drinks?

Generally No.

Water may be allowed only if permitted by the testing sponsor.


12. What items are prohibited?

18. Can Xcel reschedule my exam?

No.

Scheduling changes must be made through your testing sponsor.


19. What happens if I miss my appointment?

Most testing sponsors classify this as a “No Show.”

Fees may not be refundable.

Yes.

Approved accommodations authorized by your testing sponsor will be provided whenever possible.

Results

21. When will I receive my score?

Some exams provide immediate results.

Others are released by your testing sponsor.


22. Can Xcel tell me my score?

No.

Scores are released only by the testing sponsor.
